City: how much does it cost to rent?

Each owner sets the price, which depends on the vehicle, the area, the dates and the rental length. You see the total price before you book, with comprehensive insurance and 24/7 roadside assistance included. On the map, filter by City to compare options near you.

City: what do I need to rent?

You need to be at least 21 and to hold a car driving licence (category B), valid in Spain and held for at least 1 year. The first time you rent, Amovens validates your ID card, NIE or passport and your licence. For cars Amovens considers premium, the minimum age is 25.

City: can I rent by the hour?

Yes, as long as the owner allows it: you can rent from a few hours to several days. That way you only pay for the time you need it, whether for a move, an errand or a trip away.

City: what's included in the price?

It always includes the vehicle for the time you book, with a number of kilometres based on the rental length, comprehensive insurance with Omocom and 24/7 roadside assistance. Fuel or charging, tolls, parking and fines are on you. Extra equipment, such as a roof rack, a kitchen or beds, depends on the vehicle and is listed in the ad. See the insurance.

City: is there a deposit?

It may be: if your booking has a deposit, you'll see it before you confirm. The amount depends on the vehicle, the rental length, your age and other booking details. It's held on your card and released a few days after the rental, minus any extra costs. More about deposits.

City: how many kilometres are included, and who pays for fuel?

The included kilometres depend on the rental length and are shown before you confirm the booking; fuel or charging is on you. If you're planning a long route, you can buy extra kilometres before the rental starts, which works out better than going over: extra kilometres you haven't bought cost 50% more. When you finish, return the vehicle with the same fuel or charge level it had at pick-up.

City: can I cancel my booking for free?

Yes, if you cancel an accepted booking more than 48 hours before the rental starts. Between 48 and 24 hours before, you pay 40% of the rental price, and between 24 and 3 hours before, 50%. With less than 3 hours' notice or if you don't show up, you pay the full price. Rental terms.

City: can I add an additional driver?

Yes, as long as you do it before the rental starts: when you book or by editing your booking. The price is shown at that point. The additional driver must meet the same requirements as you, and can't drive until Amovens approves their documents.
