Booking refunds

Occasionally, plans change, and you may need to cancel a booking. Here is everything you need to know about the refund process on Amovens, ensuring you understand when and how you can expect a refund.

When are refunds issued?

Refunds are issued in accordance with our cancellation policy as outlined in our rental terms for confirmed rentals.

Please note, that the cancellation policy only apply to confirmed rentals. If a rental is cancelled before it is confirmed, we do not deduct the money, but just cancel the payment.

Refund process

  • Timing: Refunds are typically processed within 1-5 banking days, depending on your bank’s processing time. Please note that Amovens is not able to speed up this process, as it depends on your bank.

  • Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at the time of booking.

Cancellation fees

  • Late cancellations: Be aware that cancelling close to the booking may incur a cancellation fee, which will be deducted from your refund.

Deposit refunds

  • Refunds of deposits: The deposit, after deducting any additional charges from the rental, will be automatically refunded to your payment card 4 days after the rental ends. Please note that it may take an additional 1-3 business days for your bank to process the refund and for the funds to appear in your account. Read more here.
