Amovens helps people share cars. We are changing traditional use of cars by making it fun and easy to share cars. We have 1.5 million members in Spain and close to 3 million members in Europe who are sharing cars and having great experiences with each other.

Our services are ridesharing, peer-to-peer car rental and a successful leasing concept.

We are seeking a strong Head of Business Development who can develop and grow our peer-to-peer car rental business. This business has a great potential, and we want to take it to the next level. It is our ambition to deliver a game changing and popular car rental service in Spain through peer-to-peer solutions.

As Head of Business Development, you will be responsible both for sales and for business development in cooperation with the Amovens team and the central Development team. A sales team will be reporting to you, and you will report to the CEO.

Over time participation in business development also of ridesharing and leasing will be an opportunity

The job

You will be responsible for:

  • P&L and targets of our rental business in Spain
  • Positioning and pricing of our service in the Spanish rental market
  • Sales processes and customer service and education
  • Rental marketing and partnerships (with the Marketing team)
  • Planning of product development with the central Development team

You must be ready to work hard and work until you see success of your efforts. We are an entrepreneurial company building a new and big business.

Background

We expect 3-5 years of professional experience in consulting, start-up or sales. Experience with online business is a plus. We expect you to have a bachelor or master’s degree from a respected business school or similar. You must be proficient in English and thrive in an international environment. More than anything else entrepreneurial drive and talent is a must.

Other

Amovens has around 35 team members and an office at a cool location in the centre of Madrid. We are part of the GoMore group also operating in France, Denmark, Norway and Sweden. GoMore in total has around 100 team members and a head quarter in Copenhagen.
